Dr. Gwan Yeong Jung is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Incheon National University. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from UNIST in 2020 under the supervision of Prof. Sang Kyu Kwak, where he specialized in modeling the electrochemical interfaces using multi-scale simulations. Prior to joining INU, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Washington University in St. Louis, working with Prof. Rohan Mishra. His research at CMCL is dedicated to the rational design and optimization of advanced materials with improved properties and emergent functionalities, bridging the gap between atomistic theory and macroscopic perforamnce through multi-scale modeling and simulations.
